What does Whitelow Legacy Group do?
Whitelow Legacy Group is a venture studio and back-office partner for skilled tradespeople. We form your LLC, handle licensing, keep your books, run payroll, set up HR, watch your compliance calendar, prepare you for funding and review your numbers every quarter — so you can keep doing the work you are already good at.
How much does it cost?
One package with two ways to pay: $2,497 one-time plus $597 a month with a 12-month minimum, or $0 up front and no monthly fee in year one in exchange for a 15% stake in the LLC. Government fees and your QuickBooks subscription are passed through at cost on both.
I can file an LLC myself for about $100 — why would I pay for this?
You can, and the filing really is the easy part. We set up everything after it — books, licences, taxes, payroll — and keep it running, so you never get a surprise letter from the state. The entity is the cheapest piece of the work and the least of it.
I am not big enough yet.
That is the best time. Building it right now costs far less than fixing it later, and the things that get expensive — misclassified workers, missed licences, books nobody kept — are all cheaper to prevent than to repair.
I do not trust people with my money.
Good, you should not have to. You see every number every month, in plain English, and nothing is filed without your okay. Your QuickBooks file is in your own business name and goes with you if you ever leave.
