Painting Businesses
LLC, city licences, crew payroll and change orders for painters going legitimate.
What we handleWhitelow Legacy Group partners with skilled tradespeople who are good at the work and ready to make it a real business — painters, landscapers, pressure washing businesses and handyman services, and trades much like them. Most are first-generation owners: nobody in the family has done this before, so there is no one to ask. That is exactly who we built this for.

What we handleLLC, seasonal payroll, equipment funding and books built for a lumpy season.
What we handleLLC, permits, commercial contracts and the paperwork property managers ask for.
What we handleLLC, licensing limits, contracts and books that show which jobs actually pay.
What we handleOur core client is a skilled tradesperson doing great work on nights and weekends, with happy customers and word of mouth already working. What they are great at is the craft. What keeps them up is everything else: LLCs, licences, taxes, insurance, hiring, and the question nobody wants to ask out loud — am I doing this legally?
| Who they are | Skilled tradesperson. Side hustle today, full-time business tomorrow. |

| What they are great at | The craft: quality work, happy customers, word of mouth. |
| What stresses them | LLCs, licences, taxes, insurance, hiring, "am I doing this legally?" |
| What they have tried | Doing it alone, YouTube, a relative's advice, cash in an envelope. |
| What they want | To quit the day job, look professional, and stop worrying about paperwork. |
| What they fear | Getting in trouble with the state or the IRS, wasting money, being taken advantage of. |
If you are the first person in your family to own a business, you are learning things other owners absorbed at the dinner table. So we use no jargon, assume nothing, and walk you through every step — including the parts that feel like you should already know them. You should not. Nobody told you.

Almost certainly. The four trades listed are where we started and where we know the specifics best, but the back office of a service business looks broadly the same: an entity, licences, books, payroll, contracts and a compliance calendar. If your trade has requirements we do not already know, researching them is part of the launch.
Not for the Pay Up Front option — plenty of our work is for people still holding a day job and getting ready to leave it. The Equity Partner option does require you to be working the business full-time or ready to be, because we are taking a stake in the outcome.
Then it is an audit and catch-up rather than a launch. We find what is missing or lapsed, get it current, and take over the ongoing work. Businesses that already have an LLC pay a lower onboarding fee in place of the launch fee.
No, but they get extra care. If nobody in your family has run a business before, there is no one to ask the obvious questions, so we explain every step and assume nothing. That is deliberate.
The free business checkup is a straight look at what is set up, what is missing and what it would cost to fix. No charge, no obligation, and you get the list either way.
