Privacy policy

Last updated October 31, 2026

This policy explains what Whitelow Legacy Group collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you book a checkup or send a message, we collect your name, email, phone number and whatever you tell us about your business.
  • Business checkup answers. The free business checkup runs in your browser. Your answers stay on your device and are not sent to us unless you then book a checkup or submit them deliberately.
  • Usage information. If analytics are enabled, we collect standard web analytics: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.

How we use it

To respond to you, to prepare and deliver the services you ask for, to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, and to understand which parts of this site are useful. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us operate — our hosting provider, our scheduling and customer-management software, and analytics providers — and professionals we introduce you to only when you ask us to. If you become a client, we share information with government agencies and filing systems as required to do the work you have engaged us for. We also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technology for basic functionality and, where enabled, analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may work less well if you do.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and for our own records. Client records are kept for as long as the law and our professional obligations require, which for financial and filing records is generally several years after the engagement ends.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. Contact us using the details below and we will respond.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.

Children

This site is for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
